23061 Meyer Park / Turn Wiring Harness SOS Plow Universal

This is a Meyer SOS Park/Turn Harness 23061.  This is a universal light harness for the SOS wiring. Will fit many vehicles to eliminate running back to the trailer plug. 

This has a module built in for certian trucks so that the turn signals do not light when hitting the brake pedal. This plugs into the truck side harness 23059 with the 4 pin trailer plug. 

Down below is some more information on the SOS wiring and module.

Because of a Shortage of harness 23080 and 23079 Meyer has announced that this 23061 can be used in place of them. They function the exact same only difference is how they are installed. 

Blue connects to Reverse lights for Hands Free plowing
Yellow to Parking lights 12V signal
Green ( w yellow )  to Right turn 12V signal
Green ( Alone )  to left turn signal 12V
Red to Battery Hot
Black to Battery Ground 

If used on a 2015+ Dodge this can not be used on the blint connectors for that you must use 23079, but could be used by splicing rirect into the light wiring.

2015 and later Ford F150s, along with 2017 and later Ford Super Duty vehicles, with the integrated brake  controller, will show a trailer connected message when the Meyer Standard Operating System Plow is connected to the vehicle through the vehicle trailer plug. This will cause the vehicle to shut off the rear blind spot & cross traffic alert detection as well as the back-up collision avoidance since the vehicle thinks there is a trailer attached. 
In order to relieve these issues, Meyer has created a wiring harness, Part Number 23061. This harness will be used in conjuction with the vehicle side wiring harness (23059) and wire directly to the vehicle’s 12V signals 
for left turn, right turn, park, and reverse. Terminations are typically made in the headlight and tailight assemblies. See the wiring schematic below for more information.
The 4 pin connector of harness 23061 will connect to the 4 pin of the truck side wiring harness (23059). Continue to make terminations for the truck side wiring harness (23059) as stated in installation instructions. 
The remainder of the truck side wiring harness will need to be  secured under the hood, away 
from heat. The BLUE wire of the 23061 harness will run the length of the truck to splice into a reverse 12V 
source. It is recommended that all terminations be soldered with shrink tube.
