31271-1 2017-2026 Ford Superduty Truck Western Ultramount, Blizzard, SnowEx 31270

Mount Kit #31271-1 for 2017 and Newer Ford Super Duty Trucks
This is the latest updated mount for 2017 and newer Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, and F-600 Super Duty trucks. It replaces the previous 31270 and 31271 models. Compatible with Western Ultramount and SnowEx plows. It can also be used with Blizzard Power Hitch 2 plows only if the cross bar is removed.

Kit includes:

• Cross Bar: 67696

• Passenger Side Mount: 85498 (also known as 74206)

• Driver Side Mount: 85497 (also known as 74205)

• Passenger Side Rear Bracket: 70528 (also known as 51778)

• Driver Side Rear Bracket: 70529 (also known as 51714)

• Bolt Bag: 70531

Designed for a perfect fit and secure installation, this mount provides reliable support for heavy-duty snowplow use.

*Note: If you are using this for a Blizzard plow you do have to remove and relocate the brackets for the cross bar.

This version was released to address occasional bumper interference issues with UltraMount hook-ups, particularly on some 2024–2025 trucks with lower front bumpers. Though rare, these interferences led to the updated design and a clean transition starting with the 2025 model year. The 31271-1 mount backfits all applications previously calling for 31270 and 31271.

Application Notes:

• 31270: Standard mount for 2017–current Super Duty models. May have minor fitment issues with some 2024–2025 trucks due to lower bumper designs (very limited cases).

• 31271: Designed specifically for 2020+ F-350 and F-450 models with diesel engines and dual rear wheels. Solves interference issues with a front cooler seen with the 31270.

• 31271-1: The most universal and up-to-date version, solving both the cooler clearance and bumper hook-up issues. Fits all trucks where 31270 or 31271 were previously used.
