A factory Electric Motor for small to mid duty Fisher and Western plows.  

The 48543-1 Motor is used on the following Fisher and Western plows UTV, HT, HTS, HS, Defender as well as the SnowEx plows: RDV plows, UTV V-plows, 6800LT, 7200LT, 7600RD, and the 8000RD.

This is a good quality sealed motor. It is 3" wide and 5-1/4" long. This is 12 volts. It spins clockwise and has a slotted shaft.

The Western Part number is 48543-1, and the aftermarket number is 51055. The Tag on these often say P/N 56806 . Same as Snowex # 52299 and replaces the older # 27753. 

* Make sure you check the condition of the brass bearing sleeve that the motor shaft sits in so you can replace it while the motor is off.
