This is an Aftermarket Control to replace the expensive #96462 factory control.

This has a round screw on plug with 14 holes, but uses only 10 pins. This is used on The Western MVP V plow (also works on Fisher EZ V). Check your plug, it only fits the MVP, not the MVP Plus or MVP3.

This control has designated buttons, so no mode button. It has one button for every function. This comes with a dash bracket.

NOTE: There is a simple modification required for this control to work (see below). This is not a plug-and-go item.

Please make sure the connector matches your connector before ordering
4 way operation
Automatic Shut-off when not in use, approximately 22 minutes
The plow blade will coast to a soft stop (left or right), results in smoother operation and decreased wear on the plows hydraulic system
Express Up/Down Feature
On/Off switch can be used as an Emergency Stop when required
Illuminated keypad on control for night time plowing
All control functions will time out (shut-off) after a period of time. This helps reduce wear on the pump motor and prevent unnecessary battery drain, Up-button, times out after 2.6 seconds, while left and right functions time out after 3 seconds

I purchased this controller in Feb of 2016. In 2020 I finally got around to installing it. I could not be happier. The re- wire was easy and it works great.

Controller works good a little bigger than my old Western MVP control.
Has more features than original MVP you can control each wing individually. Rewiring was easy instructions were good.
Price was good less expensive than a new Western controller.
Great option for my older plow. Highly recommend this control.
