We're Moving!
How It Happened
For over 35 years, we have called Route 183 and Bernville our home. We started the business as a small shop and have grown in to a name known across the world in the Snow and Ice Industry. And with this growth we have seen the need to expand. We struggled with how exactly we would go about doing so. While we have been expanding from building to building on property we now have grown to the point where our growth has created more pain then gain; both for ourselves as well as our customers. The parking situation created some issues right along the road especially during the busy peaks of our season. And the overall space of the office area created some logistical challenges getting customers in and out in a timely fashion. It was time for a change.
At first we were looking at ways we could make our existing property work. We tried to map out the land to determine what we could get done. We walked along the property searching for a way to create a space big enough to house parts, offices and bays as well as creating better off street parking. The process proved difficult. Throughout the Spring of 2021 we continued to see how we could make the property work.
It was during this process that a 2021 graduation event at Schuylkill Valley High School set our future in motion. While attending the event, the former Ozzy's Family Fun Center caught the attention of Jeen. Growing up in the area he had many memories of events and activities at the center which now looked to be empty and unused. Following a call to see availability and a long grueling back and forth, the Ozzy's property was purchased in the Fall of 2021. Since then we have been working to get the building into shape as we prepare to move. Our goal was to be in the new building before out 2022 open house, but with all the hoops to jump through and the size of the project we realized trying to rush in was not going to create a good experience for this winter for our customers. We will continue to get it set up and ready so as soon as winter is over we are going to start moving into the new location in 2023. Hoping to have a grand opening week / open house in September 2023.

Ozzy's Family Fun Center
Throughout it's prime Ozzy's Family Fun Center was a premier location for kids of all ages. Featuring a skating rink, mini golf, go-karts, arcade, bumper boats, batting cages and more it was a beloved detination. Ozzy's transformed over the years, going through an extensive renovation in the 90's to go from just go-karts to a all around family fun center. Whether you were looking to host a party, work on your skills or just a fun evening out Ozzy's was the place to be. We are thankful for the memories many of us had there and look forward to what the future of the location will hold. We sold many of those contents at an auction Jan 1st 2022.

Moving Forward
As mentioned our plan is to move into the new building sometime in 2023. Throughout the rest of 2022 our plan is to renovate the existing building to better suit our needs for when we do move in. We will still be located at 5138 Bernville Rd for the time being and will keep everyone updated on when the official switch does happen. Our goal for the time being is to improve both the building and our processes to better suit our needs and those of our customers. We are looking forward to this change as we take a step towards a new beginning and can't wait to see what the future holds. We will plan to update our plans here and on our social media pages. There will be some pain in the process there will be times that inventory is in both locations and we may run into having to send some one to the other location to get them what they need. But with the volume of inventory we have there is no way to move it all at once or even in 1 summer. We intend to put it straight in the new location with barcodes and a better system and this will be a slow process. We cant wait to show everyone the new location and what it has to offer.
