A New Buyers SaltDogg Spreader Model 92440SSA.

The 92440SSA is constructed of 10 gauge 304 stainless steel which will never rust and resists corrosion. It mounts right under your tailgate and uses a 6" horizontal auger to draw material right out of the truck bed to the spinner. A hinged bottom cover gives you easy access to the auger assembly for clean out. The volume depends on the truck, since the spreader does not hold any material on its own. The spinner is 14" in diameter and made of polyurethane. It can be used with bagged rock salt, salt, sand or a salt/sand mix. Spins up to 25' wide. This spreader is an excellent choice for municipalities and contractors plus, it does not require the truck to have a central hydraulic system.

This spreader uses variable speed control # 3016934. The main wiring harness for the controller is # 3016944. The drive and spinner can be controlled independently. There are separate motors for the drive and spinner. The 12V drive motor is .75 HP and the 12V spinner motor is .50 HP. Make sure you keep your motors clean as they can go bad from salt when not properly maintained.

The 92440SSA measures 31.25" tall, 25" long, and 96" wide. The side plates are 8" high.

This commercial grade salt spreader is completely low-profile. There is nothing to obstruct your view.
