New Meyer Blaster 750 RS Tailgate Salt Spreader 2" receiver hitch W/ Vibrator

A New Meyer Blaster 750RS Poly Tailgate Salt Spreader.

This spreader measures 24" Deep x 49" Wide x 35.5" High and weighs 235 lbs when empty. Runs on a 1/2 HP direct drive electric motor which has enough power to break up any material that is clumped together. Comes with a patented brush auger exclusive to Meyer which keep any material from spilling out when not in use.

The Blaster 750 RS is designed to be used with a 1/2 ton or larger pickup with a 2" receiver or a tractor with a three-point hitch. This is the version that comes with the receiver. There is a version called 750S which does not.

The hopper is constructed of corrosion-free polyurethane and a fitted lid that has locking straps to keep it on when traveling at any speed. The frame is powder-coated carbon steel. The 9" spinner is made of stainless steel which is resistant to rust. A motor guard prevents the motor on the spinner from being damaged when backing up. This version of the 750 has a built in vibrator which helps to keep the material from clumping while in the hopper..

This spreader comes with a back-lit variable speed control that has an on/off switch, a blast mode, and a speed dial. When the brake is applied on the vehicle for five seconds, the spreader automatically stops spinning.

This spreader comes standard with auger to handle a salt or 50/50 salt-sand combination, but with accessory auger extensions can be used with materials up to small gravel. Spreading width is from 3 - 40 feet.

750 lbs of material is approximately 9.375 cubic feet.
