Sector was shipped very quickly. Seems to be constructed of the same gauge and thickness of metal, and the same size. There were some differences. The pivot bolt that connects it to the A-frame was too small so I had to drill it out. This sector has a piece of angle iron running across the top from one outside spring mount to the other with a spring mount tang in the middle to install a third middle spring. My old early 80's ST7.5 did not have this. The angle iron prevented the sector from pivoting to the stops. I had to cut the corners off of the small peice of angle iron that retains the back (bowed) portion of the sector. Also, I had to weld 1/2 inch extentions on the moldboard stops to prevent the moldboard from tilting back. My old sector did not have these stops. The moldboard was positioned closer to the old sector, so the front of the sector itself stopped the moldboard from tilting back. There are no cotter pin holes on the inside ends of the blade pivot p[n hinges, so nothing prevents the pins from working in, so there is only about 1 1/2" of pin in the hinge tube of the moldboard. I didn't notice this till I had it all back together, so I just dropped a couple hex nuts in there so the pins won't float too far in. When I get a chance I'll have to take it back apart and drill a couple holes. Even with this extra work It was still a good bargain - half the price of any other sector I looked at. Only order this for an old ST if you have the means to make these modifications.
