SnowEx SP-225 3 Cu. Ft. Utility Salt Spreader

This is the SnowEx SP-225 - a lighter duty spreader that can be attached to a UTV, a compact pickup or SUV, a 1/2 ton pickup, a 3/4 or 1 ton pickup, a flatbed, a dump truck, or a tractor.

This spreader is as easy as they come. It can be used with calcium chloride flakes (not pellets) and bagged rock salt and can spread up to 20'. The spinner motor is completely electric powered, drawing power right from the vehicle. An electric powered gate starts and stops flow from the spinner. This does not come with a weather cover, but we do have them WSC-020.

This comes standard with the 2" receiver hitch but has several other hitch options available at an additional cost. Drop utility mount DRM-175, Trailer mount TLR-175, Utility mount UTM-175, 3-point mount TPM-175, and Pivot Pal mount PPT-175.

The spreader weighs 68 lbs empty. It is 22" long, 32" tall, and 30" wide. It has a capacity of 3.0 Cu. Ft. (.085 Cu M) or 240 lbs.

There is also an optional variable speed control which helps manage spreading width VAR-020.
