Swenson 00002-463-02 Hydraulic Under Tailgate Stainless Steel Salt Spreader Meyer 63546

A New Swenson Spreader Model 00002-463-02. This is the same as a Meyer 63546. 

This is constructed of  stainless steel which will never rust and resists corrosion. It is 96" wide and mounts right under your tailgate and uses a horizontal auger to draw material right out of the truck bed to the spinner on the Drivers side. A hinged bottom cover gives you easy access to the auger assembly for clean out. The volume depends on the truck, since the spreader does not hold any material on its own. The spinner is 18" in diameter and made of polyurethane. It can be used with bagged rock salt, salt, sand or a salt/sand mix. Spreads up to 40' wide. This spreader is an excellent choice for municipalities and contractors plus, it does require the truck to have a central hydraulic system.

This Weighs 540 lbs.
