Uesd Boss Forge 2.0 Stainless Steel 2 Cubic Yard Electric Inbed V Box Salt Spreader Pintle Drag chain

This is a used Boss Forge 2.0 2 Cu. Yd. Stainless Steel Hopper Spreader. This has been through the shop it was serviced and tested we installed a New Pintle Chain in this unit. 

The Forge 2.0 is Boss' stainless steel equivalent to the reliable VBX spreader line. Constructed using some of the heaviest gauge steel in the market, this hopper spreader will withstand years of harsh winter weather.

The 14.5" spinner is made of urethane which is corrosion resistant and has a slick surface to prevent material from sticking. The motor is covered to keep it safe from the elements and de-icing materials. A top screen breaks up the spreading material as it is poured into the hopper, as well as enabling the operator to see into the hopper and determine the material level. Comes with a dual variable speed control with an LCD screen.

This spreader has the option of an auger drive or pintle chain drive. The pintle chain drive increases the max feed rate to 4 cubic yards per minute from 2.3 cubic yards per minute, but it does also increase the empty weight from 650 lbs to 700 lbs.

A pre-wet system is optional and comes with an upgraded controller. The auger drive version comes standard with a vibrator, but it must be chosen as an option for the pintle chain drive version.
