Hope For Tomorrow

"Raising Awareness That Leads To Action"

This year we are partnering with a non-profit organization called Vivakids. Every plow sold from April 1st, 2023 to March 31st, 2024 will help to feed one student at the center for a month. This includes both breakfast and lunch for the students! We are excited to see the change we can bring in helping these students over the next year. Read down below about this awesome organization!

Vivakids missions is , "to provide HOPE FOR TOMORROW in the developing world by showing the love of Jesus Christ to its children and their communities through the people that serve them." They work with two centers in the Dominican Republic, Centro Integral Materno Infantil Vida or CIMIV, and Pan y Vida. Both centers work with grade school students in not only providing an education and basic needs but also sharing the love of Jesus with each of them.

CIMIV and Pan y Vida both provide education through classes which teachers provide to them. They also receive medical assistance and nutritious meals while they are part of the center. Some of these kids don't have opportunities to go to school otherwise whether it be financial or availability but through these centers they get that chance. Both centers have around 150 students as part of their number with staff that volunteer or work well under the average pay for their duties. They are truly champions for the kids in the centers.

Vivakids is different in the way they operate. Rather than coming in and trying to instill their own ideology or practices, they work directly with the people already working in the community. They provide valuable resources to aid in the work that is already happening rather than taking over the system. They do this through missions trips where people get to go and see what is happening, and events throughout the year where you can stay and help. It all ties back to the idea of RAISING AWARENESS THAT LEADS TO ACTION.

They also run a child sponsorship program for the kids at both centers to help alleviate the cost of meals, education and supplies for running the center. What's really cool is every trip they run you have an opportunity to see the child you sponsor and play with them, speak with them and have a personal connection with them. An innovative program to be a part of. Because of the sponsors they have, 100% of the sponsorship donation goes directly to the needs of the student.

We are excited to be working with them this year. Be on the look out for exciting ways you can partner with them or check out their website at vivakids.org
