This is an SOS harness. SOS is used on the newer plows they have a red plug end on the power cable. It has a 4-pin end for the trailer plug on the vehicle, a 12-pin plug for the controller and a 16-pin plug for the plow harness. This will plug into 4 controllers 23037, 23047, 23072, and 23074.
This harness is used on many of the newer plows including the Meyer Wingman plows , the Lot Pro plows, Super blade and the V plows. This harness is also for the HFP mode (hands-free plowing) on these Meyer plows. This replaces the old part # 23038 that they no longer offer.Â
If you need a complete wiring kit to convert to SOS, that is sold as kit # 08098.
There are different versions, so make sure the plug out at the plow has 16 pins and your controller plug has 12.Â
*NOTE: In 2024 Meyer has made a revision on the harness removing the long 4 pin lead making it earier to adapt in their adapters for specific trucks, but in the chance you want to use the 4 pin trailer plug lead on that version you will need the 4 pin extension 23054. The adaters are 23061 universal, 23080 2020+ Ford, 23079 2015+ Ram.Â
