Fisher Tempest 2.2 yard Hopper S220C 8 Ft Salt Spreader Drag Chain Stainless Steel Electric

All new to the 2023-24 Season, The Fisher Tempest is an improved version of the already sucessfull Fisher Steel Caster. They took what was working and changed the Angles and the construction of the spreader to be a better product in a smaller footprint . This is now a riveted contruction Giving a cleaner look with out the welds as well as making it possible to repiar a damged hopper tub. 

This is the 8' Tempest with a stainless steel hopper, part # S220C . It holds 2.2 CU yards and it weighs 580 lbs empty. It fits 3/4 and 1 ton pickup trucks and can be used with salt, sand or a salt/sand mixture. This has an add on pre-wet system available.

These measure 96.5 x 70 x 41". It has dual electric 12V DC motors with a 16" spinner and a 16." wide conveyor. Spreads up to 36'. 

This is the same wiring and controller as the Steel Caster so you can start to update your Fleet with out the issue of compatability. 

Other than the name, this is the exact spreader as a SnowEx Renegade , and Western Marauder.

Enhanced dual variable-speed control allows you to precisely match material delivery and spread patterns to conditions. Four standard accessory buttons and a dedicated blast button provide optimum in-cab efficiency. Easy-to-understand self-diagnostics alert the operator when the hopper is empty or when adjustments are needed, and LEDs make the control easy to read. Its compact size compared to traditional controls fit easily into today's modern truck cab designs.

An innovative chute design reduces material waste by delivering material to the precise points on the spinner that cast it out and away from the truck instead of on your back bumper.  The circular shutter deflector maximizes material control by allowing one-side spreading operation, preventing material from going where it isn't supposed to go.

This spreader can spread up to 36'.
