This is the NEWEST version of the updated Western Tornado. It is the 1.5 CU yard and it weighs 591 lbs empty. We now have bolt on pre wet systems for this spreader.

The New Western Tornado Poly/Electric Hopper Spreader offers many great performance and convenience features.

These measure 108x63x44". It has dual electric motors with a 15.5" spinner and a 16.5" wide conveyor. Spreads up to 40'. This is only 7' long in the bed - perfect for a smaller bed.

Enhanced dual variable-speed control allows you to precisely match material delivery and spread patterns to conditions. Four standard accessory buttons and a dedicated blast button provide optimum in-cab efficiency. Features easy-to-read LEDs and digital self-diagnostics, all in a user-friendly compact size.

The updated Tornado hopper spreader features an enclosed accessory hub for easy plug-n-play installation. Accessories automatically integrate with the hopper control without having to run additional wires from the front of the truck.

Now built to put more control at your fingertips, the Tornado hopper spreader has been updated with Fleet Flex technology for easy interchange between electrical hopper spreaders, without having to change the wiring or the controls.

• Accessory Hub - Conveniently connect accessories directly into the hub mounted on the back of the hopper, without having to run additional wires to the front of the truck.
• Rear Dump Buttons - Located at the rear of the hopper, two dump buttons run the conveyor for easily unloading excess material or quickly filling up a
  walk-behind or tailgate spreader.
• Work Light Button - Also located at the rear of the hopper, this button lights the area at the rear of the spreader for better visibility when operating the dump buttons or working at the back of the hopper. 
• Easy Electrical Chute Disconnect - Conveniently access the electrical disconnect so you can easily remove the chute.
• 16½" Pintle Chain - The proven 16½" pintle chain conveyer delivers reliable, smooth, consistent material flow.

The Tornado™ spreader’s overlapping hopper design seals out moisture while molded water grooves direct runoff away from the hopper. Its domed shape increases hopper capacity. When opened, the covers form a spill guard to keep overflow material out of your truck.
• With chute removed, the unit stands on end to save storage space during the off-season.
