A New Meyer BL-240 Poly Tailgate Salt Spreader This is Grey and has the Jeep Brand on it.
This spreader measures 18" deep x 23" Wide x 20" High and weighs 96 lbs when empty. Runs on a 1/6 HP Electric motor. This spreader is excellent for use with a light truck, an SUV, tractor or UTV.
Meyer spreaders come with a patented coarse brush auger which prevents any of the spreading material from spilling out on its own, thus saving you money. The hopper is made of polyurethane and it comes with a fitted poly lid to keep your material dry. The frame is carbon steel. Meyer's tailgate spreaders connects to your vehicle using a tailgate receiver hitch.
This spreader is intended to be used with salt only, not sand or pellets. Spreading width is from 3 - 25 feet.
