48808 Salt Spreader Fleet Flex Power + Ground 4 Pin Cable Blizzard Ice Chaser, Western Tornado, Fisher Poly-Caster

*There are 3 versions of these poly spreaders, so read everything below to make sure you are getting the correct cable.

A New Power Cable (part # 48808). This cable is used on some of the Blizzard, Fisher and Western salt spreaders. It is used on the 1.5, 1.8 and 2.5 inbed salt spreaders.  This is for the poly hopper spreaders. This plugs into the vehicle side power plug 29217. This also has a square 4 pin plug that plugs into control harness 29221 & hooks up to module 78071.  This has two large pins and two small pins.

If you have the older 1.25 spreader that had a conveyor belt instead of a chain, you need 28585. The only difference is the wire lengths.

If you have a newer version of these spreader that has a -1 after the part # on the spreader (these are the Fleet Flex spreaders with the module in a stainless steel box), these are now part # 78417.

Blizzard Ice Chaser, Western Tornado, Fisher Poly-caster.

Make sure you add a tube of dielectric grease to the cart to protect these plugs from corrosion.
