Magnum salt spreaders were made by the Imperial Electric Company until purchased by 'Louis Berkman Winter Products LLC' owner of Meyer and Swenson products (now Aebi-Schmidt). Eventually they were rebranded as Meyer and Swenson spreaders and the Magnum name was retired. Because of this, most Magnum spreaders are almost identical to Meyer and Swenson. Some were operated with controllers from the Karrier Company.
